Daniel and his team performed a quality paint job on the exterior of my house. I was most impressed with how careful and considerate they were of my landscaping. I had invested a significant amount of $$$ in landscaping up against and around my house. Daniel and his team went out of their way to move ladders out away from the plants and were extremely careful when walking around them. While not my lowest price, Daniel quoted a competitive price and for the quality I received and for the carefulness on the job, I would highly recommend them to anyone. These Atlanta painters were great!

Kimberly Painting did a superb job on the interior of my condo. Hudson, the project leader, was extremely helpful all the way from start to finish, helping me pick out colors, letting me know what to expect from the team, and at the end even coming back to help me install a new kitchen lighting fixture (whose frayed wiring he had caught). These Atlanta painters were very skilled and accommodating; they even helped with rehanging my pictures. I especially appreciated the repair work they did prior to the painting. Overall, it was a beautiful job.

Kimberly Painting did the exterior of our house and we are very pleased with the results and the process. The customer service was thorough and always there when we needed it. They have a smooth, competent organization and we would like to use them in the future for interior painting and when our gutters need replacing. They were definitely the right Atlanta painting company to use. Thank you Kimberly Painting.

A friend who is in the business let us know that Kimberly Painting is the company to use for exterior house painting particularly when you have some exterior repairs that need to be done on your home. We have seen friends and neighbors spend thousands of dollars with siding or other exterior repair companies for all new siding, soffits, or windows. Our friend explained to us that much of the time these extensive repairs are not necessary. He explained that the estimators at Kimberly Painting examine the home and include a list of window, door, siding, soffit, and fascia repairs needed before completing painting and that they do a very good job of completing these repairs for much less than a carpenter would charge. We are so thankful for this advice as we found it to be true. The Project Manager showed us what needed replacing and Kimberly Painting did a great job of both repairs and painting and we love the way our home looks now.

If you’re like most homeowners, you have a home improvement project that’s been nagging at you for years – something that you’ve been meaning to get done for just about as long as you can remember. One such project is likely to be the removal of your home’s dated and deteriorating wallpaper. The fact that your Atlanta wallpaper removal project has been hanging over your head for so many months is not surprising: it’s hardly a fun task to tackle.
Removing wallpaper generally begins with applying a substance that will help dissolve the glue holding the paper to the wall. Then, you’ll peel and scrape the wallpaper from floor to ceiling, carefully removing each stubborn strip. In most cases, the removal of wallpaper causes significant wall damage – so you’ll then need to patch and sand the walls thoroughly. Once the patching and sanding have been completed and any wallpaper paste residue has been scrubbed away, you’ll want to prime the walls, then apply two coats of paint.
Sound like a lot of work? There’s no way around it – this summer’s Atlanta wallpaper removal project is sure to be a headache. Smart homeowners, then, know that calling the Atlanta wallpaper removal specialists at Kimberly Painting is a good idea. The professionals at Kimberly can manage your Atlanta wallpaper removal process from start to finish – providing you with a fabulous job through and through.

If you have a painting job on your summer “to-do” list, you’re going to need to do some research about which Duluth painters are best suited for the job. To put it plainly, painting your home is a project that can easily go awry – so it’s important to get started right by working with a professional company that can be trusted to work with your best interests in mind at all times.
There are a number of things you should keep in mind when choosing Duluth painters. The first step of the painting process, for example, is extremely critical: if you don’t set up your worksite properly, the project is unlikely to be completed well and without drama. The first question you should ask of any painting company, then, is whether set-up is included in the company’s services. Will the company move furniture? Protect your floors? The next important consideration is the completion of the necessary prep work. Before any painting can begin, the surfaces must be scraped, sanded, and primed. Will your potential Duluth painters handle these steps? Another important consideration is contact with your site supervisor. Will you be able to contact your Duluth painters’ project manager when you have a question or concern? Last but not least, determine if the company’s painters complete related clean-up. Nothing is worse than having workers depart and leave behind a monumental mess.

Considering a home improvement project this summer? If so, consider getting the most bang for your buck (and your time): repaint the exterior of your home. Why? Simple: painting the exterior of your home is one of the most time- and cost-effective ways out there to boost its value and improve its appearance and longevity. The hard part, though, is finding the best way to do it.
Any way you slice it, completing an exterior painting job is a good deal of work. To begin, you’ll need to properly prepare your surfaces. This includes scraping and sanding the siding (as peeling paint does not provide a good surface for new paint to grasp onto), as well as touching up any caulking around your windows and seams. An exterior painting job is also a good time to inspect the condition of your trim and fascia – and replace it if necessary. Look in particular for rotted wood or joints that no longer fit together well. When the prep work is completed, you’ll need to apply two coats of top-quality paint. Make sure that you choose a quality brand for this application: using low-grade paint may save you money right now – but it virtually guarantees that you’ll be repainting sooner than you’d like. Sound like a lot of work? It can be – but not if you work with the professionals at Kimberly Painting. Kimberly’s painters will complete your exterior painting job from start to finish – with quality guaranteed.

If there is one home improvement project you are likely to attempt this year, it is painting the interior of your home. On a basic level, completing an interior painting job seems like a simple undertaking: it is a relatively inexpensive proposition and doesn’t require the expensive tools and equipment that other jobs might. On a deeper level, however, don’t be fooled by the seeming simplicity of interior painting jobs: it is entirely possible to paint a wrong way and a right way – and, for the sake of your project, you’ll want to ensure that you paint the right way.
Every successful interior painting job, then, begins with the proper preparation. If you have wallpaper, for example, you will need to strip the wallpaper before you begin. This is a multi-step process that includes applying a stripping agent to dissolve the glue, scraping and peeling away the paper itself, then washing leftover adhesive from the walls. When that is completed, you’ll need to patch and sand the drywall to ensure an even, smooth finish. Once any wallpaper is removed, be sure to check the condition of your wallboard. Patching and sanding may be required – and severely damaged drywall should be replaced. Walls should then be primed, followed by two coats of high-quality paint. If these tasks sound daunting, consider working with the professionals at Kimberly Painting. Kimberly’s trained painters can tackle all the steps of an interior painting project from start to finish.
