Naturally high-traffic areas will suffer discoloration over time, requiring the work of Atlanta painters. There are many causes for paint discoloration. Sometimes it’s just a matter of dirt, smoke residue, grease or mildew. Even so, simple scrubbing can only go so far. Home owners may mistakenly assume that a fresh coat of paint is all they need to make the wall look new again; however, if there are excessive undercoats, underlying cracks, mildew damage or peeling, you will first need repair work done by your Atlanta painters. Another common mistake is the failure to properly prime the surface, which results in bubbling, premature peeling and moisture infiltration.
If you need to repair a wall inside your home or wish to fix a discolored wall, your best bet is to call professional Atlanta painters. Often people try to match the paint themselves only to find that the new painting does not match the rest of the wall and the adjacent walls. No one likes to waste time and energy or go through such a hassle for nothing. By contrast, Atlanta painters will provide added assurance that a professional job will be done. They will be able to sand, plaster over and prep your walls for a smooth, aesthetically pleasing coat of paint, even if it’s been painted over ten times already.

Did you know that Atlanta painters at Kimberly Painting will come to your house and give you a free estimate on your Atlanta painting job? Perhaps it looks about time to spruce up your exterior’s existing shade, choose a new look, or cover up mold, bare wood and chipping to protect the underlying structure. Or maybe you could use a revamped interior to update your home’s look and refresh your attitude. Either way, we’ll send expert Atlanta painters who can give you an estimate and a pre-start survey, as well as a color and materials consultation. These are little customer-service details you can’t buy in a paint can at Home Depot!
Once you’re happy with the colors and arrangements, our crew of Atlanta painters will come in and complete the task, with the same person who did your estimate overseeing the entire job from start to finish. Afterwards, you’ll also receive a thoughtful follow-up as well. Quality assurance is just one reason why so many people hire Atlanta painters instead of doing it themselves.
Additionally, Atlanta painters can offer an expert opinion on paint colors, techniques and styles. They will use coverings to protect your furniture and carpeting while they’re working and dispose of all the messy paint cans, rollers, pans and brushes afterwards. With your free Atlanta painters estimate, you can go over your dreams and ideas with a thoughtful consultant, analyze your home’s condition and receive an affordable quote to get the job done.

There’s no denying your home could use a good Atlanta house painting job. Yet many people wonder, “Should I hire an Atlanta house painting crew or just do it myself?” and “How much does Atlanta house painting cost?” There are many ways to look at pricing.
First off, no matter who does the Atlanta house painting, you’re going to need supplies – supplies that an Atlanta house painting contractor already has. This means rollers, pans, brushes, gloves, primer and paint at minimum. If you have underlying structural damage, it could mean hammers, nails, sanders, scrubbers, caulking guns, powerwashers and more. You can plan on spending $25 – $40 per gallon of paint, which makes up for roughly 15-25% of your Atlanta house painting estimate. Particularly if you’re painting the exterior, you’ll want to spend the extra money to get a higher quality paint that will last double the amount of time. Sure it may add another $200 onto your Atlanta house painting job, but at least you don’t need a re-do in four years.
The rest of the expense for Atlanta house painting is labor. Instead of rushing half-heartedly through, the Atlanta house painting professionals will take their time to do the necessary prep and priming work, then they will paint and clean up their mess afterwards, contacting you to follow up and ensure your happiness. After all, word of mouth is the best advertising for an Atlanta house painting company.

I had Kimberly Painting paint the exterior of my home, reglaze and repaint my windows, stain my deck, and install gutters. They were professional and no nonsense. The quote was competitive and the crew was hardworking and courteous. The end result of all the work was great. They took their time and did touch up work upon my request without argument. I would not hesitate to recommend Kimberly to anyone, and I would certainly use them for a future job.

Kimberly Painting did an overhaul of the outside of our house. They painted the entire outside, removed the old gutters and put new ones on, and restained our deck. They were on-time, clean, very polite, and did a good job on all areas of the project. This rather large project turned out to be easy for me and my wife because they were so easy to work with.

I hired Kimberly Painting on the recommendation of another contractor, after having to let the first painting company go due to poor work. This was a complicated interior project with a lot of detail and prepwork needed and because of the first experience I was anxious. From the beginning of the project Kimberly Painting put my fears to rest, being very careful to cover floors and furniture, and cleaning up as they go. The prepwork was very thorough and the results beautiful. These are the best painters I have ever used. Highly recommend them.

These guys did a great job! We got quotes from several painters and liked Kimberly the best on both price and service. They actually showed up when they said they would and returned my phone calls. The Owner, Mark, spent time explaining to me about the different types of paint and prep work needed on the house. A year later we had a few small issues and he sent his team out to fix them at no extra cost. Highly recommend them!

You’ll know it when you see it and your heart sinks: Is there a brown furry animal growing from your wood? Did someone sprinkle baby powder in that corner? That green has got to be the lighting, right? No one likes to admit they’ve got mold growing on their home, but in a way these unsightly blemishes are God-sends because they alert you before structural damage can occur.
Atlanta house painting experts come across mold and mildew on wood trims, window and door casings, soffits, fascia, gutters and siding quite frequently – mostly because the climate is so wet and humid here. Mold usually appears as a result of excess moisture coming in contact with an unsealed material. Where mold occurs, rotting will come next unless you take care of it.
To get rid of the dingy discoloration, your Atlanta contractors will pressure wash with a mildewcide comprised of bleach, tri-sodium phosphate and water to eradicate any existing mold. To keep moisture out of that location, they may need to arrange landscaping (like ivy), add a gutter or downspout or build a roof overhang to shield the area from heavy rainfall. Sometimes the building material is so porous it naturally invites green grime, which is particularly true of stucco or wood siding. In that case, your Atlanta painters will add a layer of gloss or semi-gloss latex and an oil-based water-repellant preservative paint primer.

Daniel and his team performed a quality paint job on the exterior of my house. I was most impressed with how careful and considerate they were of my landscaping. I had invested a significant amount of $$$ in landscaping up against and around my house. Daniel and his team went out of their way to move ladders out away from the plants and were extremely careful when walking around them. While not my lowest price, Daniel quoted a competitive price and for the quality I received and for the carefulness on the job, I would highly recommend them to anyone. These Atlanta painters were great!
